Could anyone point me in the right direction for instructions if it is at all possible when using a horizontal diagram (eg left to right)to have the relationships appear horizontal and not vertical? I'm getting a crick in my neck! I'm sure it must have come up before but cannot find it in the pdf manual or Search in the forum.
Thanks

If you mean the Relationship descriptions I don't think so, you could simply switch to a scheme with relationship to root in the boxes as a work around

Thanks Jane, I somehow thought it was not going to be easy. Are you aware of any way the text for relationships can be transposed into the boxes automatically? I'm hoping you don't have to type each one in!

I cannot remember about V3, but in FH V4 you can add Relationship to Chart Root to your diagram text scheme. The resulting template is:
Code: Select all
=Relationship(['<root>'],%INDI%,TEXT,1)- Jane

Jane thankyou for your latest reply and apologies for not understanding you first time round.Put it down to my lack of understanding of all the features available in FH. I've now amended the diagram/box option and it works! My neck no longer has a crick in it.
Thanks also to PeterR for his suggestion
