Nick,
On first install on W7 64 bit version, I ticked the box to get the icon on the Quick Launch bar... and it didn't appear on the W7 Task Bar.
After pinning it to the Task Bar it works ok, and after performing uninstall and re-install the icon does appear.
Don't think it was me(!), but maybe noting there might be a (very) minor issue.
Looking forward to using this very much awaited development!
rgds,
Dave.

I had a similar experience (also 64-bit version on W7). The icon was pinned to the taskbar immediately after installation, but vanished after a re-boot..

Icon on Task Bar
I'll see if there is a fix for this next time I do a release. I guess as Windows 7 doesn't really have a quick launch bar this option either shouldn't be there or should pin instead as you suggest.
By the way I've changed the icon for this thread to a thumbs down so that I can easily spot the things I need to fix and who reported the problem.

Icon on Task Bar
It appears that Microsoft have deliberately not made it easy to have installed programs pinned to the task bar as they were concerned about installation programs 'spamming' onto the task bar. So the best I've come up with for the next version is that the quick launch option in setup won't be shown if using Windows 7.
Thanks for pointing this issue out.
