My wife's great-great-grandmother ER was married in 1812 using the surname Bussman and there is a record of her being baptised as an adult in 1811 when her birth date was shown as 30 Mar 1792. There is also a marriage record for the same couple in 1827 when she used the surname Crousino. We have no information as to why it was decided to be married a second time or the reason ER used a different surname on the second occasion. Downloaded images of the two Marriage Register entries show the bride's handwriting is the same on each.
A narrative report shows that two marriages took place but I have been unable to get the report to show the different surnames. The custom name change fact set does not cater for the situation where the reason for the change is not known. Any suggestions please?

You could simply add a note to the second marriage detailing the 'variance' in the surname at marriage, this will show on the Narrative report, obviously if you have attached the certificate to the source, you can also include the source images as part of the report.

You're reaching the limit of the capability of computer generated reports to handle many different types of situations. Computer generated reports are always going to have limitations and though more programming effort can be expended in increasing their features you soon get to the stage of diminishing returns and increasing complexity. If it's important to have a narrative report that reads nicely then writing parts of the report into notes and including them in the report is one solution. Alternatively use the computer generated report as a basis on which to add more details by using the Save as RTF option.
