To Do List

Post by paulandberyl » 25 Feb 2010 15:39

Hi to all

On some family history software you get what is called a 'To Do' button. Obviously you can enter things you want to do on a scrap of paper or on a word processor but I think it was a nice little gadget. So at last to my question - does anyone know if this is available on FH or is it available as a download.

Many thanks

To Do List

FH doesn't have a Todo List as such. What it does have is a Named List facility. With this you can add records to a named list. So you would create a named list called 'Records to check for certificates' as the Todo action, then add the records of individuals who you wish to check to this list. There is no limit to the number of named lists, nor the number of records you can add to a list. You can add extra notes against each record in a named list. These extra notes will not appear in a diagram, report or website.
