The ability for the program to know what I should have typed, connected to, to decode old transcripts / translate Latin, and search the net for me. [smile]

FH already has a net search facility!

I would like a Hebrew/Yiddish/German/Polish translation facility!

Nothing like Blue Sky thinking outside the box.

Hopefully,

Google has German/Hebrew/Polish/Yiddish translation... sadly no Latin. Has Google a Wish List?

translate Latin
What sort of Latin do you need to have translated?

I may not be able to do it, because:

1) my Latin is rusty (haven't done much work since leaving school 30 years ago and
2) I only studied Classical Latin, so I don't have the resources that would help with more modern texts

However, I'm still willing to have a go.

As for searches, again, if you have things in the USA which need to be looked for, I'd be happy to help.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your offer.

Waiting on delivery of 2 Wills from the late 1500's, I expect they will be in Latin. If they are decipherable and in Latin will scan and send.
