Named lists

Post by bodger99 » 12 May 2004 17:25

1] Yesterday, I put together a named list and made some notes in the bottom portion; then I saved it. Now, when I just came to my list again, the notes are all greyed out even though I've selected the appropriate list in the top pane. Anyone know what I've failed to do?

2] Why have the columns 'WIP', 'Bookmarks', and 'Key Indis.', returned even though I've deleted them, [or so I thought!]? Can you delete them permanently?

The three re-appearing lists are the ones listed in the auto-create on the tools, preferences dialog, if you remove them from there Fh will not re-create them

I am not sure what you mean by greyed out, could you explain has all the text gone?

On the 'Greyed out' front you had realised notes are made against each member of the list on globally.

Try showing the List Report in the More Reports menu and check if any of the people/families have notes against them.

I thought I had already had deleted them. Sure enough, when I checked, the autocomplete boxes ARE empty. I realised that I hadn't deleted them from the actual list though and then saved that. Thanks guys - that's sorted now as well!
