Property window, set default tab to 'All'?

I like to work in the 'All' tab of the Property Window, as I find this the easiest place to view and navigate, with all the data available at a click.

However, if I am on an individual record and I double click on either Parents or Spouse family, it opens these under the 'Main' tab, and I then have to reselect the 'All' tab. Now, on the family record, if I then double click on an individual, again it opens them on the 'Main' tab and I have to click back to the 'All' tab. I don't remember this behaviour in V3.

Can anyone advise me please if there a setting I've missed, or a property window customization i can apply to make the 'All' tab the default??

If I double click on my V4 installation on a parent in the all tab it does not change back to the Main tab, if I go back using the go back button at the top it remains on the All Tab.

So I can't reproduce you issue, can you confirm you are running V4.0.2?

I'm on 4.0.2, and I agree with both PDS and Jane, above. It seems to be a feature of the Property Box that in the All tab for an Individual you can double-click on any linked Individual and go to the All tab for that Individual, but if you double-click on a linked Family, you go to the Main tab for that Family. Similarly, in the All tab for a Family you can double-click on any linked Family and go to the All tab for that Family, but if you double-click on a linked Individual you go to the Main tab for that Individual.

So in the Individual Property Box All tab you just have to click in the box to expand the Parents family and then double-click the father or mother.

Thanks for the replies, yes I'm on Version 4.0.2, PeterR's explanation is correct, does your installation show a different behaviour Jane?
