I like the reeports and especially the descendent outline report. I find it very useful as a means to pass on information where a diagram is insufficient and too large - mine is currently 490+ A4 pages and growing - but I can only extend its list of events and attributes. When recording certain events there is a lot of other information which can be added. Just one example is the recording of not just the place of the census but also the addres and the census reference and source citation.
It would be nice if the reports became totaly 'buildable' like the queries so you could choose to include certain bits of information. I presume this was perhaps the idea behind Custom Reprts which it is not possible to create at the moment - well I haven't found a way yet!

There is a programe on this website which is ment to fix this, Addnote.exe by mike.foster@paradise.net.nz
I havent however been able to get it to work as all it brings through are tiny bits of data from my extensive notes, or simply a reference.
The lack of a standard report to do this in Family Historian is as far as I am concerned a fatal flaw!

This is already on the wish list as narrative reports.

Is that what narrative reports means, then? There was no description for it on the wish list, so I wasn't sure.
