Hi,
Can anyone help please.
I have several relations that did not marry or have partners (as happened after the 1st war)and I would like to show this, especially with the spinsters.
The 'Status' box is not available until a spouse or child is entered and will not save a Status with only a child.
I really want to show the Status in the Focus window where the Marriage date appears.
Also is it possible to show the Un-married status on charts so I don't go searching for spouses.
Any ideas please.

You can only add a family status to a family record.
Why not simply use the Marriage Count attribute, then you can condition box colour or an icon based on the attribute existing and set to 0.

You could have an 'unmarried' flag attached to individuals that you can use to change the box in the daigram or add an icon... But do you ever really know? I recently discovered that a relation buried with her maiden name had been married and separated abroad during WWII.
