Error when trying to delete custom query

I have several custom queries which I downloaded from this site which I no longer use but if I try to delete them I get an error message: 'An error has occurred - cannot delete query' and sure enough the query is not deleted ... Can anyone tell me how to get rid of them?

There may be other possibilities, but this error occurs when you try to delete a custom query which is in a read-only file in your
'...Application DataCalico PieFamily HistorianQueriesCustom' folder.
