I've just done something silly
I deleted a custom query from C:documents & settingsAll UsersApplication DataCalico PieFamily HistorianQueriesCustom
When I open FH all my custom queries have gone not just the one I deleted. I tried restoring the deleted query from the recycle bin but still no custom queries.
Double clicking on any of these custom queries in the folder (path as above) makes FH try to install it but FH returns an error message and does not install it.
So, can anyone suggest how I get them back 'into' FH4 ? and for future reference how should I have deleted the query ?
Hoping that someone will be able to help with this
Thanks,
Peter

Peter,
The Query window menu has an option to delete the current custom query, which is probably the safest method.

Lost my Custom Queries
It gets worse ...
Not only am I unable to see or use the existing custom queries in FH4 now I cannot create a new custom query.
I think this may be turning into a Tech Support Issue !!!!
Regards,
Peter

I can only think you have some how confused the windows permissions on the custom folder. I would try.
1. Manually copy all the Queries from the custom folder to a safe place.
2. Delete the custom folder
3. Run the install routine again, which hopefully will repair the folder permissions.

Jane
I had a few people suggest a 'Widows' problem with folder permissions. Tried unsuccessfully to change this so went the route of a re-install (having made copies of the queries first!). Pleased to say this worked and all the old queries worked when dropped back into the newly created folder.
Thank You for suggesting this route
