Scanning photos and documents for FH

Post by jmpjack » 24 Oct 2009 21:48

What is the best setting to use for scanning photos etc for use in the Narrative Reports please. Some of the ones come through clearly, but some especially the ones I have linked to faces come out really blurred

Thanks very much

A lot depends on the original size and if you are going to 'cut out' images.

Personally I scan large documents at 300dpi, for small photographs I might go up to 1200dpi.

A really good site for scanning tips is http://www.scantips.com/ as it explains all the in's and out's
