List view to show ';Married'; name

Post by wizardx » 20 Oct 2009 11:24

Is it possible to show in the list view a womans married name as well as maiden name.
I have quite a few census records where the married woman is shown as 'widow'. Without the husband being present it is sometimes difficult to match the married name to the maiden name.

1. Right click on the Header bar and select 'Configure Columns'.

2. From the 'Items' list select at the bottom of the list and click the right arrow to add to the Column List.

3. Move the new item to where you want it using the Up and Down arrows.

4. Select the new item and click Edit.

5. In Heading put 'Married Name' or whatever you want.

6. Click on the 'Family as Spouse>Husband>Name>Surname; select this and click OK; OK; OK.

7. Done.
