I think what you're looking for is Record Links on the View menu. You have to select your source record first. It's rather well hidden, and a bit clumsy, and I can't see any way of getting to which event (for example) it's linked to without browsing by eye. Perhaps someone else has a better way of doing this.

I have 4.02, but between 'fairly easy' (query)and 'doing' is quite a gulf in my computering skill.
Chris's suggestion appears to be resolving the basic problem.
Thanks for your suggestions.

1. I believe Jane's Custom Query (linked above) works only if the specified Source is the 1st or only source for the relevant Fact. This problem has surfaced before: http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cg ... y&num=4011
2. Somehow the link to Jane's Custom Query is showing the description for an earlier Query 'Name Variants', which I have now re-uploaded.

I just revisited this to find heaps of ideas and help. Thanks for all your assistance, particularly with the Query which is working wonderfully.
(I'm not completely dumb with computers, but databases do tend to scare me off. It's a matter of use & practice).

I have just uploaded a new Fact Query (V4 only) which will find more Facts linked to a given Source, in cases where the specified Source is not the first Source for the Fact:

I do have v4 but prefer to use the v3

Sorry, but Fact Queries are one of the new facilities introduced in Version 4. I think it's possible to use V4 in the same way as V3, e.g. by not using the Focus window, and by using the V3-compatibility version of the Property Box, and by not adopting the Project concept (unless you wnat to Make a Family Tree CD or Create a Website).
