Getting a List from selected diagram boxes

Hi
How do I get a Named List or something similarly useable by first selecting boxes from a tree diagram?
It seems selecting boxes gives me only a few options like being able to mark them or delete them.
I basically want to export part of a huge tree by clicking and dragging around the diagram boxes of the records I want to keep.

Having selected the required boxes, you can use the option on the Edit menu to Add to Named List....

Probably because it's in a stupid place and not intuitive!!

To my mind the natural thing to do is to select the boxes and right click and select the option you want from there - but that's not the way it works here.
