';Text from source: '; query.

Hi! I'm a new member of the forum - have been trying out FH4 with the free trial and liked it so much that I've decided to make the switch from FTM2006.

I'm starting to find my way around reasonably well but two things are defeating me at the moment:

1) I'd like to remove the 'Text from source: ' which appears in every single source reference. I want to remove it because, firstly, I know that every single item is text from source and don't need to be reminded. Secondly, it's making the census entries very untidy - with the first line of transcript being out of sync with those underneath.

2) I would also like to remove the box which appears around photographs in reports. I'm sure there's some easy way to do this but cannot find it.

Thanks!

I presume you are talking about a report?

You can turn off Text From Source on the Source Tab of the report options.

You can't turn off the label if you are showing the Text.

No one has ever asked to turn off the borders on pictures before so that will need to be a wish list item.

';Text from source: '; query.

Thanks Jane!
Your reply will at least stop me searching through preferences and options for the next few days!
