Still getting to grips with the new version... can't even remember the new jargon..however! This is probably so basic I am verging on ashamed to ask..
OK I  find Joe Bloggs when in the Property Box mode, I click on him as before and up comes his details at the right hand side.

Can I not then click  on the Focus Window magnifying glass and then that is all about Joe Bloggs. It doesn't happen, does it? Is there a secret?

Or put it another way - when I have the focus window open. how do I search for Joe Bloggs?

At the top of the property box is a little magnifying glass click that to move the focus window to the person in the property box. This works from Diagrams and the Records window as well.

It depends which 'magnifying glass' you are clicking. If you show a person's details in the Property Box then to get them to the focus window you need to click the small 'magnifying glass' on the toolbar at the top of the Property Box. That's because (I assume) that the person whose details are displayed is not actually the person 'in focus'. The person in focus is probably one of the parents, depending on how you selected their details.
