* Age on pictures

In the Property box for individuals where I have linked a picture I used to see in the title (provided I put a date to the picture) the age of the individual in years. This seems to have dissapeared and I now just get the Title. Is there a way of having the age shown along with the title?

Hi Jane,

I am looking at exactly the same as you. But my thumbnail pictures only have the Title I have given them beneath the photo and not the age. I used to see the age but it no longer appears. The age does appear correctly in the column in the pane above the thumbnails but not within the blue border around the picture. Have I turned something off and can it be turned on again?

I think you need to click on the Show Face button (immediately left of the yellow-arrow Go To Record button).[smile]

Hi,
How do I show the age of the individual on the picture in the diagram? In your example, I want diagram to show age 24. The text schema name 'Birth, Marr, Death + notes, ages' is showing other ages such as age at marrige but it is not showing age of the individual on the picture.

There is not a tick box for this, but you could add a line to your text scheme along the lines of :

Age in Picture =AgeAt(%INDI%,%INDI.OBJE>_DATE%)

Assuming you are using the first picture on diagrams, if not you will need to adjust the index on the %INDI.OBJE>_DATE%, for example for the second picture
