Lost my new columns on transfer

I set up the record window to show several flag columns and saved. I then transferred the project and all folders under it and I have lost the columns. Is there a folder or .ini file somewhere that should be copied please?

ps I moved between XP and Vista

In the records window column set up save the columns as a Query and then you can easily export the query and import to the new system and set the record window columns from the Query.

Thank you Jane, I did say ignore but then realised that it still didn't work after re-copying.

I will do as you suggest...
