Navigation problems (mine)

I have the focus window and the multimedia window and the property box (even when floating) the latter disappears when I click the multimedia window (it didn't go behind). I am a little confused, is there a link that can be undone? I may wish to see the property window at the same time and I cannot find how to do this.
Is there a master plan that will show me the navigation tree?

Go to Tools/Preferences Property Box Tab and set the Other windows Setting to Always Show, or what ever you prefer.

There are so many options it is difficult to know how to use them all. That is not a complaint!
