I have a yellow ribbon connecting a duplicated couple.
Is there a way to delete one and leave the other, or will i have to delete all and start again?
Also will this delete any descendants?

The ribbon simply means they need to be in two places on the diagram, normally because of cousins marrying. You can hide one set of the boxes, by using the Hide option, after right clicking on the box.
