Diagrams

Post by EJ » 02 Aug 2009 13:58

Is there a way of showing people on a diagram, but hiding all the detail other than say male or female?
If you right click on box on diagram, there is an option to hide, but it hides everything including decendants, if there was a 'hide detail' tick, to just blank the boxes and decendants boxes i think this would be useful. Am i missing another way of doing this?[grin]

Go to Tools>DiagramDefaults>Text

Choose 'New'. Scroll down the lefthand list to 'Sex'. Click on the '>' button to add. Give this custom scheme a name in 'Scheme Name' (say Sex Only) and click OK. You will then find your custom scheme in the 'Select Scheme Listing'. Select 'Sex Only', and away you go... your diagrams should come up showing 'Sex: Male/Female' with pictures. Also my diagrams show blue text for males and red for females.

Hope this is of help.

You can also customise a scheme to show only the sex line when a flag is set.
