Hi all,
Just wondering if there is any functionality within FH4 to be able to print out the locations of members on my family tree.
To give you an idea of why I am asking, this would be for when I go visit the area and I am wondering if I could print off a list of locations from each census entry so I can plot them onto a map?
Thanks in advance.

You could use a fact query to extract all the locations for who ever you want.
Personally I use Family Atlas on my Gedcom file to do this, but if you just want a list of people and locations you don't need to, a query will do just as well.
Of course if you just want a quick way to see what people are relevent for a location you can use the Work With Places Tool and the Record Link button to pick up the people linked to the location, which can be saved as a named list.

Hi Jane,
Many thanks for your reply. I'm still getting used to FH so I will try to investigate all the methods you mention.
Thanks again.

Could you just give a quick example as to how to do this? If you have time.Jane said:

Is Family Atlas a stand-alone, seperate package?Jane said:
