I am using FH V4.02. Before coming to FH I used Family Tree Maker 2005. I have recently converted all my old FTM files to gedcom, opened new projects in FH and installed my old files there.
My problem is when I come to backup my FH projects they automatically try to go into Family Tree Maker Folder.
Can anyone please tell me how to get these zipped backup files to go automatically into my FH Project Folder.

In Tools->Preferences select the Backup tab and set the default backup folder to the folder you wish to use.
Note that if you perform a manual backup (not one carried out when you close the program), FH will change the current folder to the backup folder so if you are working with external files you will need to re-set the folder after backing-up.

Linda,
If you are using the Backup option in the File menu of FH you should be able to use the 'Enter Backup File Name' dialog to specify the folder (or create a new folder) in which to store the zipped backup copy of the GEDCOM file. Please note that this process backs up only the GEDCOM file, not any other files in the project, e.g. linked media, etc.
