I came to FH back in February with Version 3. I used to use Family Tree Maker and thought I had transferred my family files OK. However I have just discovered several missing pieces of data. I am not certain how this has happened.
I now use FH V.4. I still have FTM on my computer and would like to transfer all of the information on one of the files and merge it with my Project File on V4
Can anyone please point me in the right direction on how to do this.
Thank you.

Merging files?
Thanks Jane, just read your post. However, I had already printed off Chapter 15 of the Gete the Best guide and followed the lead. I am over the moon to report that I was able to create a new Gedcom file from the FTM file and then merge it with my FHv4 file.
In addition delighted to find the 'Customise Window' on main page. Now have colours, and font size in all areas which I can read (old ones a bit small for my eyesight).
Cannot priase V4 enough.
Keep up the good work.
Kind regards - Linda
