Diagram colours and background

Post by PhilBatman » 25 May 2009 13:58

I have a chart in which several people are in red font with a background colour. How do I change the font to black and delete the background to obtain a uniform appearance of all people in the chart please?

Phil,
FH has many facilities you can use to control font and colour of text, and shape and background of boxes. These are covered in Chapter 7 of Getting the Most From Family Historian (for V3) and in Chapter 9 of Getting the Most From Family Historian 4 (for V4) each available via the Help menu. You will need to use the Boxes and/or Text tabs of the Diagram Options dialog, each of which has extensive Help via the relevant button. I hope this helps.

I am trying to move branches of a family together
I have followed the steps in the help file, but so far can only move them up and down not side ways with out moving the eldest to the youngest position
Has anyone else had a simular issue
My diagram is to long so I want to compact it by moving the unrelated relatives in neat downward line and each line running together
Thanks in advance
Ann
