Date of Birth Calculator

Having become tired of trying to work out dates of birth when there are several date/age sources I decided to create the Date of Birth Calculator which can be found at http://www.f-tree.org.uk

This calculator differs from Jane's in that it will take the age at a given date and calculate the date of birth and you can have multiple combinations. There are pre-defined Census dates and then there are seven optional dates (two of which are defined as Marriage and Death - but they can be used for any purpose)

I belive it to be accurate but if not I am sure that someone will point this out.

One thing that I have not tried to accomodate is leap years as I did not think that they would make any significant difference.

Any comments and/or feedback would be appreciated.

Just put a new version up with the following changes:

1. Ability to enter a person's name.
2. Ability to change the description of the Custom events.
3. Improved error checking (maximum age = 120)
4. Ability to print out the results (can go to file if set up for output to a .pdf file)
5. Included 1841 Census (with appropriate calculations for 5 year bamnds)

I like this - it's gone straight onto my Family History favourites list. Why is it that, even with an old-fashioned 'proper' maths education, I still struggle to work out the d.o.b. of someone aged 47 in the 1891 census in my head?!
Thanks to everyone who contributes their bright ideas and snippets of programming to the site - it makes for a lively website.
