Help please.Have downloaded a demo of Historian,which works fine on my computer.When I send it as an attachment by e`mail to my son it never arrives.Assuming computer does not send it.Other emails arrive but as soon as attachment added he does not receive it.Any ideas what I am doing wrong?I can send other attachments o/k.

Bernard,
One possibility is that the file for the demo version is simply too big to be emailed as an attachment. Many email systems set a limit, and although they are bigger than they were, you may still be exceeding such a limit. Why not just send an email to your son containing the relevant link so that he can download it himself. It will be quicker for you and about the same for him.

Also many email systems will block the sending/receiving of executable programs (unless they are zipped) as this is a common route for viruses.

Thanks Nick.That sounds feasible as I have sent messages before that are too large and have always seen mail trying to be sent.This did not happen when sending program.Two methods to try now.
