Could we have a list of what has been changed between the versions.
I know that a list has been published of all the new fantastic features available in v4 on the Family Historian website (http://www.family-historian.co.uk/downl ... in_40.html), however there isn't much information on the changes between the versions, specifically stuff that no longer works or is radically different.
Four items that I can think of come to mind.
1) TEXT fields in SOUR records - multiple fields no longer allowed
2) <99 doesn't work in expressions - last is used instead
3) embedded objects - deprecated
4) absolute file paths - now relative
I'm sure there are more.
Also, when v4.01 is officially released will the list of bugs fixed also be released? Rather than users finding out 'in-passing' and noting it here on FHUG. I'm thinking of the fixes to the ItemIf function and family sentences when all that's been officially said of v4.01 is that it fixes the upside down text bug.

I'd agree it would be good to always have the details of all changes. From a selfish point of view as a developer of a utility that works with Family Historian I've had to find some of these changes by trial and error which isn't ideal and sometimes really annoying, although Simon has been kind enough to explain them to me when I've emailed for help.
To add to Jon's list another change in v4 is the keywords for images which has necessitated a new tag in the GEDCOM file. In particular I think it would be useful to Calico to report when they make changes to the way data is stored in the GEDCOM file such as adding new custom tags. I can read about GEDCOM standard tags on various websites but the format of, for example flags and ASIDs haven't been officially explained as far as I know (though I've had very detailed explanations from Simon personally).
Also just to clarify that relative paths are only for projects with objects in the media folder, other paths are still absolute.
