Can I change default location of project folder?

I am researching several families, including that of my boss... I frequently work during the day on one computer and then at night on another.

How do I change the default location of the project folder from C/: drive to that of my portable hard drive? If so, can you please explain how?

I think you can just copy the project folder to your external drive and open it, using More Tasks browse for Project option on the Project Window.

I would say how ever if you are using the external as a back up I would keep copies on both so that if one hard drive fails you have a backup on the other.

Once you've moved the projects, you change the default location using File > Project Window > More Tasks > Choose location for projects.
