Having upgraded to v4 with out problems I am in the process of checking if everything I enjoyed in v3 is still available.

I have jpegs of all my census records. All of these previously linked to all the individuals who appeared in the census. Most of these were added using Gedcom. Now the jpegs only link to the source so when I click on the camera following the highlighting of a census in the facts tab it asks me if I want to add the media to the individual.

All the jpegs have been copied to the media/census/uk****/in the new projects directory during the upgrade process.

It is a mojor task to rebuild all these links manually so is there a quick fix?

I assume you mean you used Gedcom Census to create most of these census entries and related multimedia. Assuming you used 'Method 1' where it creates a census source for each census household you record, then Gedcom Census only ever links images to a source, it wouldn't link them to an individual.

When you click on the census fact in FH4, rather than clicking on the camera icon you would click on the 'Show Media' button in the yellow citation area below. This looks like a little box with a diagonal arrow coming out of it.
