Any suggestions on how to colour a family tree so that it is based on the particular branch?
I am working on a tree, at the moment it is coloured based on the generation(one of the ones that comes with FH). What I want to do is have each entire family leg from the top family have a different colour. Idea is, at a reunion shortly each person in those legs will have a name tag of the same colour.
First way I thought to do this was to have a flag for each branch, then use that to set a condition for the box colouring. Requires a significant amount of work though flagging all the people. Can you flag more than one entry at once?
Another option is colouring the background, not the actual tree.
Any other ways of doing this?

Just use a query to select the people you want and set the flag using the query results, see the How to for Using Flags in the Knowledge base.

Good to know I at least had the right idea on how to do the diagram. Starting to understand how things work now
