Please help I think I have got confused.
I have a female ancestor who is unmarried with 5 children.
I found out from one of the children's marriage cetificate who her father was and so added him as Father.
Unfortunately he has now been made Father of all the children.
And I cant be sure that is the case.

I have obviously done something wrong

I cant seem to find how to unlink the other children from this father and link them to an unknown father.

Can some kind soul point me in the right direction

Click on child. Choose Edit-> Unlink-> From Parents. Do this for each one.

In the properties dialog for the mother, assuming you haven't yet created the family record for the unknown father, click on the blank tab next to the father's name (the one you know about). You now need to add the children to this relationship so click on where it says '' and select the option to 'link existing record as child'. Do this for each.
