Thanks for the help with the Probaable Spouse query - I notice a few have downloaded which is encouraging.
Is there a way to have more than one 'mark' colour so that probable children can be a different colour than one or other of their 'probable' parents? The reason for this is to indicate on the diagram a FreeBMD sourced child that has the correct name but may or may not be the right one prior to buying the birth certificate.
I presume that a list/query for probable child, when marked with the query would end up the same colour if there is only one 'mark'.
Using the Titles and colouring them the same as the marks gives a colour coded key on the diagram.

Short answer is you can't at the moment.

I'm interested in this 'probable' spouse thing.
How do you record probable people, be they spouses, parents or offspring?
I've been reluctant to add questionable relations to my database incase I forget that the link is not sound or that if I print a diagram or report for someone, it might be taken as fact.
Please clarify how these issues are handled.

What Nigel came up with is to have a list containing all his 'probable' links. That way he can track which ones he needs to check up on. He also uses the list in combination with a query to mark the boxes on a diagram. So they show up in a different colour.

I use a custom attribute 'Validated' (or something similar) and enter Yes/No. This can then be included in the diagram.

I tried to put a 'few' notes on the comments bit when I uploaded the Probable Spouse query to the query store but ran out of space!
Basically, it's to enable me to put the likely spouse BY NAME into the diagram, when the dates/area etc. match pretty well with the age etc. of the known individual but COULD be a different person.
This refers specifically to people located on the FreeBMD site but withouth the immediate expense of purchasing a Certificate and especially when there is no-one immediately available to confirm the information.
If other colours could be added, as I mentioned, then children could be applied in the same way.
I'll keep thinking about it!
