I have discovered that amongest my forefathers were 2 brothers, one whose father is known and the other unknown. When I put unknown father for brother 1 it shows on the view ascendants & descendants as both brothers unknown father and vice versa if I put father's name for brother 2.
Help please.

You need to create a second 'Unknown spouse' for the mother and move the child with the unknown father to the new 'family'. First unlink the child from the first set of parents and then go to the new parents and add the child - 'Link Existing Record as Child'
FH allows you to specify the status of relationship so you could set it as Unknown, Unmarried Couple or Never Married.
