Census Diagram
Is there any plan to develop a diagram type that displays the relationships betweem individuals/families & how they are moving around through time - based on event address-field data (from BMD / census etc. events)?
At the moment I'm doing this manually in Excel & I find it quite useful but it's tedious to maintain!

You can display relationships between anyone on the chart and the root person.
As seen in the Names, Dates and How related scheme
The important line is
=Relationship([''],%INDI%,TEXT,1)
You could add the address field from Census information using
%INDI.CENS[1].DATE% %INDI.CENS[1].ADDR%
%INDI.CENS[2].DATE% %INDI.CENS[2].ADDR%
%INDI.CENS[3].DATE% %INDI.CENS[3].ADDR%
You could also use these fields in a query to produce data for your spread sheet.
If you explain in more detail what you are trying to do I will see what else I can suggest.

Is there a way I can email an attachment to you? I'll send you a copy of one of the Excel's that I was using for this as an example.

Just send it direct to
jane at taubman.org.uk
replace the at with @ etc.
Please don't send anything too large as I only have a modem connection at home.

I like this idea but is it a feasible proposition?
