Download - Change in Box Chart Dimension

Post by PeterHFairholm » 26 Feb 2004 20:10

Yesterday, I downloaded version 2.2 (not 2.2.3). When I then displayed my normal box chart, I found that the space between the print and the outer edge of each box had noticeably increased. Previously, the print had been set quite close to the outer edge. I checked the setting for this dimension, and it was the same as before (=5), and all the other dimensions also remained unchanged.
How can I correct this, please

I not quite sure, but I seem to remember 2.2 had quite a few changes to do with layout, where text overflowed or touched the edge of the boxes. I would try reducing the number and see if that improves matters.

Peter

I presume that the text scheme you are using is one that has (or can have) 5 or more lines.  A change was introduced with large text schemes, to get round a problem whereby large text schemes could sometimes get text chopped off at the top or bottom.  The fix was to make the text a little smaller with large text schemes when showing them on the screen.  The original problem only ever affected the screen display, and the change too only affects the screen display.  You should find if you actually print off these diagrams that the text fits snuggly inside the boxes.
