I still haven't really worked out how to correctly do custom reports, and now whenever I press help it says that Vista doesn't support the help function as something is too old to be supported! Therefore I hope someone here can tell me how to do this.

What I'm trying to do is identify all first cousins of a particular individual. He left a will, and having had no children of his own, seemingly left his money to all his cousins and their children (though nothing to his wife's family- that must be another story). I have identified two thirds of these people and it has led me to figuring out about many marriages and births. However there are still some unidentified recipients and I am suspecting they are children of his first cousins. Therefore I want to get myself a diagram or list of all his cousins and a way to see if I have them as married. Any ideas please gratefully received!

To identify cousins there are two simple ways, either do a All relations diagram, all the first cousins will be on the row above your root person, or use a query. Example attached.

As an alternative, try this:

which selects 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc cousins based on an input parameter ('Ordinal') and the selected 'Starting Individual'.
