Version 4!

Post by JonAxtell » 26 Nov 2008 08:07

Version 4 of FH has been announced by Simon. See http://www.family-historian.co.uk/pr_fh4_nov_2008.pdf for details of the new features.

Can I be the first to congratulate Simon on producing this new version. With features such as Undo/Redo, resizable property window, PDF support, same sex support, etc. it is understandable that there has been a long time since the last update. I look forward to getting hold of V4 and hopefully it will quell many of the gripes I have about V3.

Any ideas about price yet?

Brilliant news, the enhancements listed will make an excellent programme even better. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Any idea when we will get screen shots and if there will be an instruction book to go with it?

Jon, reading the anouncement it looks as if it will cost about £24.

Looks like the £23.95 is for we upgraders. I wonder if we can download our upgrades? I wonder also if there is any opportunity to help with testing?

I always look forward to new versions of software, all those added features we wanted!!
Hopefully , as with previous versions, there will be a detailed 'What's New in Version 4?' to whet the appetite.

Hope it lives up to expectations and keeps Family Historian at No.1.
