I have been using FH with no problems for a very long time on my laptop. Now when I try to start the program I get an error: 'Error in installation. Please reinstall.' If I do re-install, will I lose all of my settings, directories etc.? Which files do I need to keep? Thanks[frown]

What OS an FH versions are you using and have you just done a Virus checker update?
Either of these can cause strange problems.
To start with I would just install FH over the top of the existing install all your settings should be retained

Thanks Jane, Im using XP Pro with SP3 and FH latest version. I had previously run a virus check. I'm worried that I may lose my added extras - queries, icons, diagram settings, flags etc. I'll try installing over the top but I think that means installing an older version, then the version 3 update from CD and then the latest update. Oh well here goes .....
