Diagrams - Baptism date in place of birth date

On a diagram I want to insert the baptism date where I have no birth date recorded. So I want to write a condition to output a line
when there is no birth date. I have tried various 'if no --' in squigly brackets but cannot find how to write the condition so it works.

This already on the wish list.
At the moment the only solution is to show the Bapt date on the next line, although this means some people get both.

I don't think this one has actually been added to the Diagrams Wish List, although I asked for it some time ago. Also burial date if death date not known please.

Thanks for the replies. Looks like I was trying to achieve something that is impossible at the present time.

It is on the Wish list as a general item as the if statement should also be available in reports, queries as well as text schemes

I got around this in the past by adding a birth event 'before (date of baptism)'. I was pleased to see that this is not needed in FH now on charts, and began removing the added birth events. However I notice that the births of their children then disappear from the parents events lists.

If you look at the query dated 24/5/06 started by me, and headed 'Diagram Text' I think this will give you the answer - assuming you are using Version 3 - it certainly works for me.
