Family Historian User Group

I have noticed that the number of individuals shown in the bottom right of my screen does not tally with the number of records I have. It has not counted several recently inserted although they appear in the listings.
This is not vital but a bit of an annoyance.
Is there any way this can be reset to the correct number?

Have you deleted a few records? I know I deleted six people/records and so my record count shows a number which is 6 below the last individual's record number.

As SunnyLady says the number at the bottom is the number of records, not the maximum record number used.

If you want you can use the Work With Record numbers tool to renumber all your individuals.
