Is it possible to run Family Historian on a PDA or similar palm top device.
If so which is the best for the job.
It would be really useful to be able to carry all of the data around in a small unit
Many Thanks
David
ps I did try a search for pda but nothing came up.

PDA's don't run windows, which is required for FH.
You could look at using Windows Mobile with Pocket Genealogist, which can be used in conjunction with FH.

David,
I have got Gedwise software installed on my Palm device. The prgram is also installed onto the PC, and it autmocatially copies the Gedcom file over each time the PDA is connected to the PC, and all of the data can then be read on the PDA (it is read-only, but useful for lookups when you are in the record office).

Thanks Jeremy
I will have a look at the palm and the hp with windows mobile.
I think a palm device would be really useful when away from home.
