I am having a problem with the individual window. In the spouse dialogue box along side the Died it has notes instead of in. ie:
Name: George
Born: 1888 in England
Died: 1950 Note (should be in)
Married: in
Status: Note
How can I fix this issue. I don't know what I have done to make it happen. I have had a look at the settings and put them back to installation settings but it hasn't fixed the problem. I don't paricularly want to reinstall the program unless it is the only way to fix it.[frown]
Hope someone can help me on this. I am desperate to fix this problem.

Go to the Tools menu then Preferences then Property Dialog. Clear the checkbox that says 'Display Spouse Note in Main Tab of Property Dialog'.
Admittedly it's the worst way of showing such an option so do be hard on yourself for not finding it. The single checkbox gives no indication that ticking the box also removes the death place. The normal method of showing such a choice to a user is with a pair of radio buttons. One which says display spouse note, the other saying display death place. It's not like their is any lack of space in the preferences dialog to show two radio buttons. Checkboxes MUST ONLY be used when the choice is an obvious yes/no one.
