In my records (either as a Residence attribute, a census event or a customised Residence(Joint) attribute) I've collected information on where people lived throughout their lives (eg Regent Road, Salford).
What I'd like to do is run a query that shows all the records of who lived in a particular street, the house number and the date.
Can sks help me set up a query - I'm going round in circles.

Have you tried just using the contains text query?
Thats probably the easiest way at the moment.

Finding out where people lived
Thanks Jane - I'm part way there
I can get the query to (a) report the people living in the road I want and (b) report their first residence record.
However, that address isn't always the one I'm searching on.
How can I adjust the query to report other address instances - or ideally just a wild card to report them all?
(I've tried switching instances of the expression from 1 to 2,3,4, etc but often get a message back saying it isn't a valid Address Tag.)
Tx

Probably the easiest way to do this is to split the task. So use your query to select records for a residence report.
What I would do is use the 'Individual Census report' as a base and create a custom version adding the Residence Event to the event list.
