Just wondering how this is handled?
I have worked out that for something like burial (residence etc) you can link to multimedia objects, is that the way you put in images of a person's gravestone? Rather than linking the image to the individual?
Found out by doing the latter, that lets say took a photo of the gravestone a couple of weeks ago, says that the person is 140 or so years old, which while true, isn't how want it to behave.
And then the final thing is, how do you get these images etc to be printed onto a report page? None of the standard ones use them, only get the #1 image for an individual.
Thanks for any assistance.

I would recommend creating a source for the gravestone. You can then type in the inscription details into the source text. Link the image to the source.
A gravestone source will then typically be linked via a citation to the death event of each person mentioned on the gravestone and in some cases to the birth event too: some gravestones mention the bith date but most just have an age. This age may be enough for you to estimate a birth date and again this would then be the source for the birth event.
Images linked to sources can be shown in reports.

Just to add to what Nick says, if you really want to add a Gravestone, or other photo to a report which is dated latter, you can always override the standard caption for a link as detailed in the help file e.g.
I use this for example where I attach a photograph of one of my Grandfathers Buses to him, I obviously don't want it to say 'James Crabb aged 40' so I override the caption to say, 'PR256 Ford van. Bought new 17.3.1923. Withdrawn 1929'Sometimes you may wish to specify your own caption for certain pictures, rather than letting Family Historian generate one for you. You can do this in the Objects tab of the Property Dialog, or in the Multimedia Window, by choosing the option Use Note as Caption for the relevant Link/Note.

Further to this, see that you can have multimedia associated with events for an individual. Is there no way to output those to a report? I can think of a lot of situations where this would be good, such as wedding photos both of people and the church, christening photos etc.

There is a wish list item to include media attached to events on reports, please vote for it.
