I am entering data from a WWII Draft Registration card.
I have two different microfilm citations for the same draft registration card. How can I record both microfilm roll numbers for the same source?
Since the cards were physical objects like a birth certificate, I chose to make each one an individual source.
I used 'where within source' for the first roll number, then discovered I could not use it again for the second one. So this doesn't seem like a good method to record this data.
Would it be better to create a multimedia object record for each image (a set of images, actually, front and back) and record the source microfilm roll there?
I have the same problem with census images, for which I might have either a microfilm number from the National Archives or from the Family History Library.
How would you handle this situation?

multiple source citations for same object?
If you use the 'source for each item' method then there isn't really any need to use the Where In Source field in the citation (or any of the other fields in the ciation for that matter). I would probably just record the two references within the Source Note field or within the source text itself
With UK census it is usually straightforward to record just one reference as Piece/Folio. It doesn't really matter what the website or microfilm was that was consulted, it will still be the same reference.
