Place List: all places amp; all events in each place

I'm looking for a query, report or list that gives all of the places (in alphabetical order)and for each place, gives all events that occured in that place. Ideally, it would give the event and date plus the individual/family and Record IDs.
This is different to using Tools/Work with Data/Places which asks you to define a place in order to return the events for just that place.
The reason is that having migrated from Roots Magic (that had such a list) to FH, I now want to tidy up and have a consitency in places.

Having searched high and low for such a list, I'm certain that someone out there can 'immediately point me to it' [smile]

This is not supported directly currently. How ever this does not stop you sorting out your locations as you can combine existing places using the Work With Data tool you have already discovered.

There is a wish list item to allow queries by event which is what is needed to get the result you are looking for.

Hi Jane - thanks for the reply.

I'm not sure that the wish list item to allow queries by event would work. What I want is:
1 The first column is to have a list of all places, in alphabetical order.
2 The next column has the date
3 The next has the event
4 The next has the names/record ID's

The example below is a standard list from Roots Magic (that I am moving away from). The formatting has lost a little in the cut & paste.
