After importing Gedcom file produced from Legacy6 I have a large number of UDF fields 1000+ I need to delete. Is there a quicker way other than selecting each record individually.
An example of fields are Date,_Pref etc

I think the following should work, but as always, if in doubt, take a backup before you start just in case.
Open FH and click on Tools > Preferences and then choose the 'File Load/Save'. Tick 'Exclude other applications' extensions to Gedcom'. Then click on File > New, to effectively close the current file, and then re-open your main file. You will probably get loads of warning messages about the UDF fields not being loaded. You may want to quickly check that these match what you'd expect. Now click 'Save'. Then try re-opening the same file again (same procedure). This time you shouldn't get the warnings because the UDF files are no longer there. Double-check that everything looks right and you haven't lost anything you wanted.

Worked a treat. Many thanks for saving me hours of work. What would we do without user groups and clever people?
