Relationships Dispaly

Post by aebbooks » 16 Jan 2004 12:45

I Am a very new user and unless I am missing something obvious there does not seem to be a way of displaying the exact relationship between the starting person and other persons. I know that there is a row by row relationship display in the diagrams but this is not what I want. All other genealogy programs have this facility surely FH shoukld have.

If you mean on diagrams. Do the following.

From the menu select Diagram, then options. Click on the Text Tab and click on the drop down you should find
Names, Dates, Related How
scheme.

This will show you how each person is related to the Root of the diagram.

If you want to do a quick relationship check there is a query in the Query Store called 'Related How' which asks for two names and tells you how they are related.

Hi Jane
Forgive me for being daft in this instance but I can't find the drop down menu referred to. Or the Text Tab.
Where should I be looking?[confused]
Regards.
